Martine Brayshaw was 22 when she started to befriend the "vulnerable" teenager, who had a torrid home life. What began as a friendship soon turned into sexual abuse over a two month period, though, and was only uncovered when the schoolgirl, who cannot be named, was confronted by her mother. Minshull Street Crown Court heard the girl's relationship with Brayshaw "contributed" to the youngster trying to take her own life. After being treated in hospital, she told police of the abuse. Brayshaw, now 24, was jailed for 30 months after she was convicted of seven charges of sexual activity with a child and two offences of witness intimidation. She was also banned from contacting the victim for five years under the terms of a restraining order. That friendship became sexual. She then admitted that matters had gone much further. It is clear that at the time the relationship started the victim was a vulnerable young girl. It was evident to this defendant she had a troubled relationship with her mother.

Women are now telling us how he raped them when they were children. We say in our jaded way: "Well, really, who knew? Either the rumours could not be printed as "the girls" would not identify themselves, or he scuppered them by threatening to pull his work for "charidee". What if a few "girls" got a quick one from a superstar DJ? That's a small price to pay for the amount of money Savile raised for Stoke Mandeville, isn't it? Anyway it's just what happened at the time. Not all of it was that glamorous, "I'm with the band" stuff. Jimmy Page was teaching a year-old the tricks of the trade. The late, great John Peel was getting married for the first time to "an underage girl" he claimed had lied about her age. And I was being groped in the store cupboard by a wheezing shop owner.

This is the moment paedophile hunters confront a man who had been sending sexually explicit messages to fake Facebook profiles that he believed belonged to two year-old girls. Members of the group — Guardians of the North — tracked Carl Anthony to his home in Lake Avenue, in Loscoe near Heanor, Derbyshire, where they challenged him about the conversations. The video has emerged after Anthony was handed a three-year community order and banned from making contact with girls under the age of 18 at Nottingham Crown Court.. The court heard that the year-old sent a series of sexually explicit messages to profiles set up by the group from August onward. Details of how or when Anthony came to be arrested were not discussed in court but the judge was told that he made a full admission to police. He had pleaded guilty to two counts of attempting to incite a girl under the age of 13 in sexual activity.
By Emily Webber For Mailonline. Waqas Mahmood, 28, told a court that the stress caused by moving north of the border had sparked him into enticing young girls to watch him carry out sex acts in Perth , Scotland. The father-of-two called girls aged 13 to his car to 'ask for directions' but as they approached his black BMW they could see he was carrying out a sex act. Despite him being deemed to be at 'high risk' of committing more sex offences, Mahmood was allowed to walk free from court after confirming he had moved back to England. His solicitor told Perth Sheriff Court: 'This is his first conviction. He only lived here for four or five months prior to these allegations. Since the trial he has moved to Bury.
