Alésia Glidewell
She is the founder and owner of Snagbuddy Productions, a Los Angeles-based production company. Brawl , which was Samus Aran 's first voiced speaking role in any medium. Glidewell voiced three taunts and one victory pose quip for Zero Suit Samus. These voice clips were reused in Super Smash Bros. Glidewell is best known as the face and body model of Chell from the Portal series. She auditioned for the roles and received them, later describing Samus's grunts as "fun to do". Glidewell knew about Samus and Metroid beforehand, and was not given much direction for voicing the character.

She was introduced in the video game Metroid. Samus Aran is an ex-soldier of the Galactic Federation who became a galactic bounty hunter , usually fitted with a powered exoskeleton that is equipped with weapons such as directed-energy weapons and missiles. Throughout the series, she executes missions given to her by the Galactic Federation while hunting the antagonistic Space Pirates and their leader Ridley , along with the parasitic energy-draining organisms called Metroids. Samus has appeared in every Metroid video game and has also been featured in media outside of the series, including in the Super Smash Bros.
