Frozen is the story of two sisters, Anna and Elsa, who are princesses of a fictional mountain kingdom. The song actually changed the plot of the film by portraying Elsa more sympathetically, as she had previously been written as the villain. Many people comment, or complain, about the song as an earworm. Some people humorously break into the song or post GIFs, memes, or clips of it online when telling someone they need to let some matter go in their personal lives. Popular media may accordingly pun on the Frozen song.
What's hot
The song was performed in its original show-tune version in the film by American actress and singer Idina Menzel in her vocal role as Queen Elsa. It was later released as a single, [2] [3] being promoted to adult contemporary radio by Walt Disney Records in January Disney's music division planned to release Lovato's version of the song before Menzel's, as they did not consider Menzel's version a traditional pop song.
The snow glows white on the mountain tonight Not a footprint to be seen A kingdom of isolation And it looks like I'm the queen. The wind is howling like this swirling storm inside Couldn't keep it in, heaven knows I tried. Don't let them in, don't let them see Be the good girl you always have to be Conceal, don't feel, don't let them know Well, now they know. Let it go, let it go Can't hold it back anymore Let it go, let it go Turn away and slam the door. I don't care What they're going to say Let the storm rage on The cold never bothered me anyway. It's funny how some distance Makes everything seem small And the fears that once controlled me Can't get to me at all. It's time to see what I can do To test the limits and break through No right, no wrong, no rules for me I'm free.
